Atlantic Electricity & Gas provide two tariffs if you only want gas supplied, they are the Domestic Standard Online and the Domestic Standard Online – no standing charge. The difference between the two is in the name, the Domestic Standard Online offers a cheaper Rate A of gas usage, but does charge nearly 27 pence per day as a standing charge. The ‘no standing charge’ tariff, has no daily charge but does charge nearly twice as much more per unit, at Rate A costing 5.08 pence per unit. Once a household usage reaches the Rate A ceiling at 1142 units in a quarter, the rate drops to the same as on the Domestic Standard Online rate, called Rate B.
Atlantic Energy & Gas boast that they take the stress out of choosing a supplier, and the strains of everyday energy monitoring by allowing online access to your energy account, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. When the customer pays Atlantic Electricity & Gas by monthly direct debit, they are entitled to one month of free energy – paid after twelve months of continuous supply. Although you receive a benefit with direct debit, this method might not be for you, therefore Atlantic provide many other ways to pay including the ability to pay online, standing order, or even by text!
